Bayview Community Centre has three rooms available for hire.

Rate can vary, discounts available for regular hirers and community groups.

 Main Hall 

For classes, community meetings, or celebrations. This room will cater for up to 120 people in full banquet style, or 150 people in theatre style.  We have a stage, stereo, microphone, 20 tables & 120 chairs, air conditioning, blackout blinds and an outside deck.  There is also a carpeted area with 3 sofas, TV, DVD and deck access.  Kitchen facilities include microwave, pie warmer, dishwasher, hot water zip, tea/coffee cups, stove and fridge - all included in the hire price.

Capacity: 120-150 people

120 people (seated in full banquet style), or 150 people (standing / theatre style).


Hireage of extras:

5 x Children’s tables and 20 x children’s chairs all for $20 (these are available for use on site or off site)

Projector hire: $20.

Crockery and cutlery: (120 place setting) with tea/coffee cups and glasses will cost $20 in conjunction with hall hire. (These can also be hired out at $100 with a $100 bond if leaving the centre. Any broken items to be charged at replacement cost).
Bouncy castle for under 5’s also available for hire, $50 per hire (this is available for use on site or off site)


Private parties / Commercial Functions:  $40/hr 

16th to 21st birthday celebrations: Please contact us for more details, specific conditions must be met.

​Community / Not-for-profit : $30/hr 

​Bond: $150 if no alcohol, or $400 if alcohol at function

IMPORTANT: All hired rooms must be cleaned and centre locked by 1am after hire on Friday and Saturday nights and 11pm all other days.  A security call out for a late departure will cost approximately $100. Additional cleaning fee: $75 per hour. Please include your set up and clean up times in your hire. Contact us for full list of terms and conditions.

Kowhai Room 

Capacity: 30 people (seated)

This room is setup with tables and chairs, has a sink bench, a small fridge, heat pump, microwave and kettle, it also has a TV and DVD and a whiteboard . This room comes with 5 tables that each seat 6 and 30 chairs.


Private / Commercial Functions: $25 per hour

Community / Not-for-profit: $20 per hour

Rimu Room 

Capacity: 7 people

​This is a small private room with doors opening onto the deck. Whiteboard, couches, table and heat pump included.


Private / Commercial Hire: $15 per hour

Community /Not-for-profit:  $12.50 per hour
