Bayview Community Centre has three rooms available for hire, these are detailed below.

Main Hall
For classes, community meetings, or celebrations. This room will cater for up to 120 people in full banquet style, or 150 people in theatre style. We have a stage, stereo, microphone, 20 tables & 120 chairs, air conditioning, blackout blinds and an outside deck. There is also a carpeted area with 3 sofas, TV, DVD and deck access. Kitchen facilities include microwave, pie warmer, dishwasher, hot water zip, tea/coffee cups, stove and fridge - all included in the hire price.
Capacity: 120-150 people
120 people (seated in full banquet style), or 150 people (standing / theatre style).

Milestone Birthdays eg 16th to 21st birthday celebrations: Please contact us for more details, specific conditions must be met.
Bond: If you want to use the Centre outside of Office hours (weekdays 9am to 2pm), a refundable deposit is required.
$150 if your function ends at or before 6pm, or $400 if your event ends after 6pm.
Centre Manager has discretion around this, contact us if required
Hireage of extras:

Children's Tables & Chairs: 4 x small tables and 20 x small chairs - $20 for use on site, or $40 for use off site + $100 Bond

Crockery and cutlery: (120 place setting) with tea/coffee cups and glasses will cost $25 in conjunction with hall hire. (These can also be hired out at $100 with a $100 bond if leaving the centre. Any broken items to be charged at replacement cost).

Projector hire: $20 on site only
IMPORTANT: All noise / events must stop at 10pm, due to the Centre being in a residential area. All hired rooms must be cleaned and the Centre locked by 11.59pm. A security call out for a late departure will cost no less than $100. Additional cleaning fee: $75 per hour. Please include your set up and clean up times in your hire. Kōwhai Room
Capacity: 30 people (seated)
This room is setup with tables and chairs, has a sink bench, a small fridge, heat pump, microwave and kettle, it also has a TV and DVD and a whiteboard . This room comes with 5 tables that each seat 6 and 30 chairs.

Rimu Room
Capacity: 7 people
This is a small private room with doors opening onto the deck. Whiteboard, couches, table and heat pump included.
