Bayview Community Centre has three rooms available for hire, these are detailed below.
Discounts available for regular hirers and community groups, please contact us for these rates.

If we are already booked on your event date, the attached document includes other Community Centres
on the North Shore that may have availability.
Main Hall
Ideal for classes, community meetings, or celebrations.
Capacity: 120-150 people
120 people (seated), or 150 people (standing).
What is included in the hire: 20 tables & 120 chairs, stage, stereo, microphone, air conditioning, blackout blinds and an outside deck. There is also a carpeted area with 3 sofas, TV, DVD and deck access. Kitchen facilities include microwave, pie warmer, dishwasher, hot water zip, tea/coffee cups, stove and fridge.
Hire Charges:

Private / Commercial Use: $42 per hour

Not-for-profit: $32 per hour

Milestone Birthdays eg 16th to 21st birthday celebrations: Please contact us for more details, specific conditions must be met.
Bond: If you want to use the Centre outside of Office hours (weekdays 9am to 2pm), a refundable deposit is required.
$150 if your function ends at or before 6pm, or $400 if your event ends after 6pm.
Centre Manager has discretion on bond levels, contact us if required
Extra Equipment

IMPORTANT: Please include your set up and clean up times in your hire.
All hired rooms must be cleaned and the Centre before departing. There is a penalty cleaning fee if it is not cleaned of $75 per hour.
Evening Events: All noise / events must stop at 10pm, due to the Centre being in a residential area. If you require an additional hour to pack up and clean you can hire the room until 11pm - please include this as a comment on your booking. If a security call out for a late departure is required, this cost will be passed onto the hirer and is at least $100 (set by security company). Kōwhai Room
Capacity: 30 people (seated)
This room is setup with tables and chairs, has a sink bench, a small fridge, heat pump, microwave and kettle, it also has a TV and DVD and a whiteboard . This room comes with 5 tables that each seat 6 and 30 chairs.
Hire Charges:

Private / Commercial Functions: $26 per hour

Rimu Room
Capacity: 6 people
This is a small private room with doors opening onto the deck. Whiteboard, couches, table and heat pump included.

Private / Commercial Hire: $15 per hour

Equipment Hire

Bouncy Castles: We have TWO castles - $50 per castle on-site only

Children's Tables & Chairs: 4 x small tables and 20 x small chairs - $20 per event

Crockery and cutlery: 120 place setting with tea/coffee cups and glasses - $25 per event

Projector hire: $20 per event
We occasionally hire the Children's Tables and Chairs out for use offsite hire. If you are interested in this, please contact the office to discuss availability and off-site rates.
